Whilst there have been Freesurfer's before him, Rasta is synonymous with putting the term on the map, due to his incredible waterman abilities and his propensity to follow his own path - fasting, mediation, yoga, environmentalism, shunning technology, learning from elders, growing his own food and all before it was cool to do so. Not only that but the fact that he can surf anything from your own 'front door' to 'Code Red Teahupo'o' makes him one of the most in demand surfers still to this day.
