    Today Sarah and Liz talk about grief, how it is part of life in our journey of fertility and health. The tools we have used to support ourselves.  Grief comes in many forms, and we do our best to look at all the different ways that it impacts our life especially on a fertility journey.

    We discuss; -

    1.       Grief is a part of life; it is important in healing.

    2.       What we feel we can heal.

    3.       To shut down or shut off can create disease.

    4.       Suppressed grief and sadness can lead to depression, victim heard, loss of hope, blame, unhappiness, and sickness.

    5.       Grief needs to be recognised and expressed to heal.

    6.       Loss is so extremely difficult.

    7.       Prolonged sadness and grief can mainly be focused on the past and limit moving forward.

    8.       We talk about Sarah’s book infertility saved my life and there is a chapter on grief, where she talks about the 8 stages of grieving.

    9.       Sarah shares her story of grief in IVF.

    10.   Grief has no manners.

    11.   Talked about life not turning out as an anticipated.

    12.   The two weeks wait on grieving.

    1.       We look at releasing guilt.

    2.       Putting hands on the body and working with a Hawaiian process

    a.       Called Ho’oponopono meaning making things right.

    3.       Journaling to let go.

    4.       Writing a letter.

    5.       Offer your light to the angels.

    6.       Have a ceremony to say goodbye.

    7.       Other modalities are using EFT or tapping, The Journey and hypnotherapy.
