Would You Only Help Someone if They Promised to Help You, Too?

If you're anxious to travel, perhaps trekking all over Alaska in a bush plane is exactly what you need. Go searching for a missing sister, and find a friend's killer, all while seeing the majestic Alaskan countryside. I don't know about you, but I'm ready to head out right now!  WOOT! You'll find all this and more in Shadows at Dusk.

Shadows at Dusk by Elizabeth Goddard

Montana Detective Trevor West is desperate to learn what happened to his sister, who went missing in Alaska over a year ago, leaving nothing but a few photographs as clues to her whereabouts. At the advice of Police Chief Autumn Long, Trevor enlists the help of an experienced bush pilot. If Carrie James can't help him find the places in the photographs, no one can.

But Carrie has her own agenda. Grieving the death of her closest friend and the only person she could trust, Carrie will help Trevor find his sister on one condition--that he help her track down her friend's killer.

As the two close in on the answers they crave, they'll face dangers and connections they could not have imagined. They'll have to learn to trust one another--and face the dark secrets of the past--if they are ever to discover the truth and bring a killer to justice.

In October 1972, four men reached for the sky and disappeared into the last frontier. Nick Begich,  a young congressman running for re-election with the help of his aide and friend, Russell Brown, and the infamous Hale Boggs, husband of Liddy Boggs and father of Cokie Roberts.

Both Begich and Boggs made monumental strides in politics, leading many to believe foul play was involved with the missing plane. However, Inches of Mercury details three feasible realities from actual plane crashes from the Land of the Midnight Sun.
