अब कार की पिछली सीट पर बैठे पैसेंजर को भी सीट बेल्ट लगाना जरूरी होगा। ऐसा नहीं किया तो फाइन भरना होगा। ऐसा हम नहीं बल्कि केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने मंगलवार को एक इंटरव्यू के दौरान ऐलान किया है. नितिन गडकरी ने कहा कि, जिस तरह कार में आगे बैठे पैसेंजर के सीट बेल्ट नहीं लगाने पर अलार्म बजता है, ऐसा ही सिस्टम अब पिछली सीट पर बैठे पैसेंजर के लिए भी होगा। इसके लिए कार कंपनियों को निर्देश दिया जाएगा। गडकरी के इस ऐलान को मिस्त्री के निधन से जोड़कर देखा जा रहा है. टाटा संस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष साइरस मिस्त्री का मंगलवार को मुंबई में अंतिम संस्कार kiyaa गया. महाराष्ट्र के पालघर जिले में रविवार दोपहर को हुई सड़क दुर्घटना में मिस्त्री और उनके दोस्त जहांगीर पंडोले की मौत हो गई थी. वे दोनों दक्षिण गुजरात स्थित udvada से लौट रहे थे, जो पारसी धर्म के लोगों के लिए सबसे पवित्र स्थल maana jaata है. ये दुर्घटना आखिर कैसे हुई इसको लेकर अब अलग-अलग सवाल उठाए जा रहे हैं. इस हादसे का जांच कर रही फॉरेंसिक टीम ने दावा किया है कि सड़क पर बने ब्रिज के डिज़ाइन में कुछ गड़बड़ियां है और इसी के चलते ये दुर्घटना हुई.

मिस्त्री, जो टाटा संस के छठे अध्यक्ष थे, को अक्टूबर 2016 में पद से हटा दिया गया था। रतन टाटा द्वारा सेवानिवृत्ति की घोषणा के बाद उन्होंने दिसंबर 2012 में अध्यक्ष के रूप में पदभार संभाला था। एन चंद्रशेखरन ने बाद में टाटा संस के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष के रूप में पदभार संभाला।
