Episode 1023 - Montreal Canadiens lose a shootout to Tampa Bay | Checking in on the Draft Lottery odds | Nick Suzuki keeps pace with Auston Matthews

Inside the latest Locked on Canadiens

The Habs continued a surprisingly painless run through Florida as they put together another strong effort on Saturday night. Despite losing to the Lightning in a shootout, fans were treated to some solid play in a losing effort and the end of Josh Anderson goal drought. The hosts then also wonder, where the heck was this sort of effort against Arizona last week?

The hosts also take a look at the Draft Lottery odds after this past week, and see who the fine folks at Tankathon have the Habs drafting right now.

In Three Up, Three Down the hosts discuss the ongoing growing pains of the Laval Rocket, and their young defensive core. While the expectations were for the team to make the playoffs, is it still good for development that the coaching staff is letting players like Logan Mailloux and Justin Barron work through their struggles?

On the upside, Nick Suzuki was outscored by just Auston Matthews in the month of February, and that in and of itself is an impressive feat. How high is the ceiling for Suzuki heading into the end of the season, and what does his future look like when the Habs are finally at full strength again?
