Robert Treat was born in Anchorage, Alaska in 1969 and adopted at birth by an oil driller and his wife moving to Malta when he was a week old. He spent most of his childhood traveling all over the world living in Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Norway, Trinidad, Borneo, Scotland and several other countries. Robert left high school at age 17 and immediately enlisted in the Marine Corps. Prior to leaving for basic training his recruitment was transferred to the United States Navy due to extremely high testing scores. He was initially trained as an Operations Specialist and later went on to become an instructor for Anti-Submarine Warfare specializing in Target Motion Analysis. Following Robert’s short career in the Navy, he went on to work in the private sector as a contractor for several government Intelligence and Law Enforcement Agencies. He was contracted to many Special Access Programs specializing primarily in Project and Finance Management. While in this role he managed projects relating to Space Based Electronics and Armor Systems, Genetic Engineering, Social Engineering and Psychological Operations along with several other “Dark Programs”. Robert cites his most interesting role as working as an undercover operator within an undisclosed “illuminate” order and serving as their Assistant Minister of Finance. While in this role he enjoyed the trust and confidences of many of the world's most secretive elites and had first hand access to many of their agendas and goals. Robert retired from this life in 2015 and settled into a quiet life as a regular citizen and in 2018 he opened a small bar in the suburbs of Houston, Texas. The rise of COVID in 2019 brought with it reminiscences of some of the more frightening and insidious elements of the projects he participated in throughout his career.

Kerry had just realized that she was queer; Jenn had been out for longer, but as an Asian-American, she was struggling with the overwhelming whiteness (not to mention maleness) of the only available queer Mormon spaces. Jenn and Kerry clicked immediately as friends, and Jenn pitched the idea for what would eventually become "I Spoke to You with Silence: Essays from Queer Mormons of Marginalized Genders" (which just sold out during its first week on Amazon!). Kerry and Jenn share the different trajectories their lives have taken since coming out, and we discuss the beauty and freedom of unconventional relationship structures. Brian Knappenberger is a documentary filmmaker. His film Church and the Fourth Estate, about a sexual abuse scandal in Idaho that rocked the Boy Scouts of America and the Mormon Church, premiered at Sundance this year and. Joining Brian on this interview is the subject of the film, Adam Steed. Adam was one of the first sexual abuse survivors to report the abuse to the Boy Scouts and the Mormon Church, only to be rebuked. Brian’s most recent documentary, The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez, is now streaming on Netflix.

On the afternoon of Monday December 31, 2018, the Truth and Transparency Foundation was issued four separate takedown requests with a total of 63 documents. The request came from the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania. It is the third time the Truth and Transparency Foundation has received such a request, this being the first regarding withdrawal of documents not related to Mormonism.

All the documents included in the requests are currently hosted on the website of TTF project FaithLeaks, which serves as a site to host confidential documents from religious institutions. The entirety of the documents was published in late April or early May 2018, eight months before the requests.
