Episode 23: Imitation is the best type of flattery - and we've seen our share of impersonators over the years, including Elvis, Spock, Snow White, and Groucho. Here's a brief account of some of the celebrity impressions we've witnessed in our travels. In this podcast series, Tom Nielson tells stories shares memories, and concocts whimsical, humorous tales inspired by his life adventures, modeled on the monologues of Jean Shepherd of WOR-Radio.

Clare and Hannah geek out about Star Trek: The Original Series. We reveal Mr. Spock's side hustle as an auto mechanic, discover that space hippies have had way more of an impact on our lives than we realize, and that anything can become an android if you spin it fast enough.
Intro and outro music (“Splanchnics Riff)” composed and performed by Clare T. Walker.
The 15th Annual A-Z of Horror Festival continues. We reveal festival entries H-R, in this episode, Part 2. Nicole seems to have a much more enjoyable time, with this portion of the alphabet. We kick the episode off with a house that happens to have a sinister reputation. Yes, in fact, it may actually have been born bad. We then wrestle with feelings of paranoia and xenophobia, as we become very suspicious of Mr. Spock. Where DO his loyalties lie? An infectious disease causes a lock-down, quarantine situation in a Spanish apartment complex and we absolutely do NOT want to look in that attic again. Watch in awe, as Johnny Depp sits in a library and does research, in a effort to authenticate a book that may actually bring Satanic Panic back to the Bible Belt, if, in fact, it had ever been extinguished. And then from there, experience the finest example of French cinema, that you will likely ever set your eyes upon.
