**// Kapitel //** - 05:22 - Holmes geht ins Gefängnis - 07:10 - Frank Geyers Ermittlungen wegen Mordes - 12:56 - Die Chicagoer Polizei durchsucht Holmes Mörderhotel - 15:42 - Die Vorgeschichte des H.H. 6/7/2015 Serial Killer Month Kicks off with Jeff Mudgett and Bloodstains - The true story of H.H. Holmes

6/7/2015 Serial Killer Month Kicks off with Jeff Mudgett and Bloodstains - The true story of H.H. Holmes
June is another topic theme month as we look into the minds and motives of some of America's most notorious serial killers. We start off the month by welcoming back Author Jeff Mudgett, great great grandson to America's first serial killer H.H. Holmes. We'll talk to Jeff about his startling discovery of his heritage to Holmes and his book written on the life and brutal murders of H.H. Holmes. About Jeff: Jeff Mudgett was living a normal life as a practicing attorney when at age 40 he was thrust into the most harrowing chapter of his life. Learning the facts about his ancestry plunged Mudgett into a full investigation about the forefather from which he unexpectedly learned he was descended, the infamous serial killer, H. H. Holmes. His book, Bloodstains, takes readers through history, perhaps learning more than they wished to know about the terror and horror Holmes (his great-great-grandfather, Herman Webster Mudgett) reigned down upon innocent victims during the late 19th century. Using the Holmes’ diaries, as depicted in the story, Jeff Mudgett gives us a glimpse into mysteries yet unsolved. For those who are not familiar with H. H. Holmes and his “Murder Castle” built during the construction of the World's Columbain Exposition in Chicago in 1893, Mudgett’s book, BLOODSTAINS, tells the story from a completely new angle, a personal history combined with methodical research into an ancestor no one would willingly claim. Herman Webster Mudgett was a swinder, a con man, a womanizer and, at his worst, H. H. Holmes, the most atrocious serial killer of all time. The success of BLOODSTAINS has been a phenomena for a self-published, first time author. Turning down offers from publishers, Mudgett decided to keep control of the book and the way the story was told – his acquaintance with the subject matter couldn’t be turned over to editors and publishers to change. BLOODSTAINS is Jeff Mudgett’s story and Jeff Mudgett’s book. www.bloodstainsthebook.com

    1. 56 Notizie Storiche - Karalice
