Both me and Jai were so excited that a mini-series was being made about the Sex Pistols. Who else could possibly capture the chaotic spirit and the energy of London in the 70s but Danny Boyle? 

All 6 episodes are out now on Hulu (US) but we're just talking the first one for now. 

We touch on how perfect this series captures the scene in London, the fashion being on POINT, and the recent comments about the series by Johnny Rotten.

Victoria author Susan Sandford Blades first novel, Fake It So Real, has been receiving critical acclaim since its publication in October 2020. The gritty post-punk story of love, family bonds, pain, and the struggle for authenticity won the 2021 ReLit Award in the novel category, and has been nominated for the 2021 BC and Yukon Book Prizes Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize. And the bonus? It's set in Victoria.

Then a very pneumonia stricken Regina tells us the tale of Sid and Nancy.  Nancy Spungen met her end in room 100 at the good ol' Chelsea, and up until recently common belief is that Sid Vicious was the murderer.  But was he really?  Heroin is a hell of a drug.
