The 2020 National Electrical Code® is out and there are many changes. This episode highlights changes to Section 210.8 and Article 230 that will cost money. They are important and valid changes, but they will have an effect on the way we do our work, price our jobs, and the equipment we purchase and install.

Article 210 is a diverse set of requirements because all of our installations eventually end up in a branch circuit. There is a lot to cover, from which circuits are required, what the current limitations are, the type of electrical protection, and the placement of devices. This episode gives an overview whereas those to follow will dig a bit deeper into specifics.
