On the Wednesday March 11 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Greg Peterson of VSIN and the Hoopin’ With Hoops podcast to chat about conference tournament games for the Wednesday night card and beyond. Adam and Greg first discussed the potential impacts of games played in empty venues and how those lines could move.

Adam and Greg took a look at a bunch of late games for Wednesday night from the ACC, MAAC, Conference USA, Sun Belt, and the Patriot League, including picks and predictions on each and every one of those games.

Adam and Brad talked briefly on college football and season preparations before spending the majority of the segment on college hoops.

Adam and Brad talked in general terms about conference tournaments and then worked some of those concepts through their discussions about the Pac-12 Tournament, the SEC Tournament, and the Big 12 Tournament with picks, predictions, and analysis.

On the Friday March 6 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper Kyle Hunter of HunterSportsPicks.com and BetterSportsPicks.com to discuss five conference tournaments and some general betting strategies on the latest Handicapping the Hardwood segment. Adam and Kyle gave some angles, trends, and systems that have been profitable before diving into specific conference tournaments.

The guys hit to SoCon, Sun Belt, Colonial, Summit, and America East tournaments on this segment with some thoughts on the futures odds, some tips and picks for the tournaments, and their predictions for the winners or the teams that carry some decent value from a betting standpoint.

On the Tuesday March 3 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Brian Blessing of Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline for this week’s Betting the Board segment. Adam and Brian hit the NHL, golf, NASCAR, and college basketball betting markets with a wide variety of picks, predictions, and analysis.

On the NHL side, they talked Trade Deadline, the card for Tuesday night, and the futures market. On the golf side, they hit the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill with some picks and predictions. On the NASCAR side, they talked the FanShield 500 at Phoenix Raceway and isolated some drivers to bet. Finally, they discussed college basketball conference tournaments, with a primary focus on the Mountain West Conference.

On the Monday March 2 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper Ralph Michaels as a pinch hitter for Kyle Hunter to talk some conference tournaments. With Kyle out sick, Ralph filled in nicely to give general thoughts on conference tournaments vs. regular season betting and some of the conference tournaments that get underway this week.

The guys hit on the Atlantic Sun, Big South, Horizon, Patriot, Mountain West, and Ohio Valley Conference Tournaments that all get underway on either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Adam and Greg talked about a lot of different games for Friday and Saturday and then shifted their focus to the conference tournaments and the betting strategies with those.

Among the games discussed were Texas State/UT Arlington, Wright State/NKU, Penn State/Iowa, Michigan State/Maryland, Duke/Virginia, ASU/USC, Auburn/Kentucky, St. Francis PA/Robert Morris, Austin Peay/Murray State and the guys talked about how conference tournament handicapping differs from the regular season. Thirteen conference tournaments begin next week.

On the Thursday February 27 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper John Ryan to talk a whole lot of hoops. Adam and John discussed some buy and sell in the NBA on some overvalued and undervalued teams, the Big East, and the Big Ten for this weekend and beyond.

The guys focused in on the Big Ten card for Thursday night, including a couple of plays that John really likes. Then the focus shifted to the Big East to discuss this weekend’s action before the guys wrapped up with a little bit of an NBA Buy and Sell segment.

On the Friday February 21 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke wrapped up Friday’s show and the week with some of his own college basketball betting insights and some situational spots that are on his radar for this weekend’s action. Adam talked about Cal Baptist vs. Chicago State, Villanova vs. Xavier, Troy vs. Appalachian State, UCLA vs. Colorado, and Southern Illinois vs. Northern Iowa.

He also hit the ice for a few NHL spots to be wary of for this weekend as well.

The guys talked about Senior Day and what that means as teams play out the string and then looked at a whole bunch of games for Friday and Saturday night.

Adam and Greg talked about VCU vs. Saint Louis, Buffalo vs. Kent State, Rider vs. Iona, Gonzaga vs. BYU, Kansas vs. Baylor, Florida State vs. NC State, Florida vs. Kentucky, Montana vs. Montana State, and Louisiana Tech vs. North Texas with some projected lines, picks, and insights.

On the Thursday February 20 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper John Ryan to talk about the NBA coming out of the All-Star Break, and the games in the Big Ten and Big East Conferences for this weekend. Adam and John started in the NBA to find some buy and sell teams as games get back underway.

On the college side, they looked at Ohio State vs. Iowa for tonight, as well as Michigan State vs. Nebraska. Then they looked at the Saturday and Sunday slates for both conferences, including some key games in the Big East on both Saturday and Sunday.

The guys started by talking about the mental side of handicapping and how to deal with the swings of good days and bad days. They also looked at Friday’s card to single out the most intriguing games of the evening.

Most of the focus on the segment was for Saturday’s action, as the guys took detailed looks at West Virginia vs. Baylor, VCU vs. Richmond, LSU vs. Alabama, Northern Iowa vs. Loyola Chicago, and a clear-cut look-ahead spot with Binghamton vs. Vermont.

On the Thursday February 13 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper John Ryan to discuss the NBA going into the All-Star Break and this week in college basketball in the Big Ten and the Big East. Adam and John talked about tonight’s two games in the NBA and John shared what he does over the All-Star Break to work on his NBA stuff.

As Kyle works his way back into rhythm, the guys had a shorter version of the segment today, but still wanted to get some good CBB knowledge out to the listeners.

The guys talked about a handful of regression candidates, an awesome box score from the weekend, and then previewed five games for the week ahead with looks at Penn State vs. Purdue, Rhode Island vs. Dayton, Alabama vs. Auburn, and Creighton vs. Seton Hall.

Adam and Brad talked about their props and how the game worked out for them between the 49ers and Chiefs. They looked at the Pac-12 as a whole, including some quick futures talk, and then handicapped some games for tonight and this weekend. Finally, Brad had some really interesting things to say about National Signing Day and some of the programs that signed strong classes and one that signed a really weak one.

Adam and Kyle talked about fade and follow teams, regression candidates, tempo changes, and a whole lot of games for this week in college basketball.

The guys hit on some major conference teams and some small-conference teams, as they always do, over the course of the show, including a Big 12 fade team, a Big South follow team, and several games for this week.
