    Die Euro NCAP-Crashtests sind der Maßstab in Sachen Sicherheit unserer Autos. Seit vier Jahren werden neue Modelle vom ÖAMTC und seinen Partnern aber auch in Hinblick auf ihre Umweltfreundlichkeit bewertet – im Green NCAP-Test, einem Öko-Check. In diese Wertung fließt nun erstmals auch eine Lebenszyklus-Analyse mit ein, die auch die Emissionen bei der Produktion und die Bereitstellung der Kraftstoffe bzw. Elektrizität dafür mit einrechnet. Dr. Max Lang, einer der Initiatoren von Green NCAP erklärt, worauf es dabei ankommt.

    Die Euro NCAP-Crashtests sind der Maßstab in Sachen Sicherheit unserer Autos. Seit drei Jahren werden neue Modelle vom ÖAMTC und seinen Partnern aber auch in Hinblick auf ihre Umweltfreundlichkeit bewertet – im Green NCAP-Test, einem Öko-Check. Die Testergebnisse hinsichtlich Schadstoffemissionen, Kraftstoff- bzw. Energieverbrauch und klimaschädliche Treibhausgase werden mit bis zu fünf Sternen ausgezeichnet. Bewertet werden nicht nur Benziner und Diesel, sondern auch Autos mit Hybrid-, Plug-in-Hybrid- und Elektroantrieb. Dr. Max Lang, einer der Initiatoren von Green NCAP erklärt, worauf es dabei ankommt.
