There's been a need to stay relevant, but as the situation likely slows down, what does a program like Notre Dame have to do? What can they do differently than other programs?

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day addresses the media on Tuesday August 30, 2022 at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center in Columbus, Ohio. During this news conference Day previews the upcoming matchup between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Kirk Herbstreit saying that Michigan was using Covid-19 as a way to duck Ohio State next week.  Michigan just cancelled their game vs Maryland on Saturday and next week isn't looking good for THE Ohio State.  To think that a college program would use the pandemic as an excuse not to play a game is delusional and repulsive.  Herbstreit then apologized and blamed it on the ups and downs of the pandemic.  He is the face of ESPN's College Football empire.  Never was a fan of his and this statement was pathetic.  
UNC playing Texas today in the Maui classic in Asheville, NC.  Bill Walton made me turn off the sound.  He just called Dale Davis an NBA legend.  News to me.

Wednesday afternoon football Ravens @ Pittsburgh.  Never thought it would happen but Roger Goodell saId health and safety of players is the top priority.  I thought it was MONEY.  My bad.

Sarah Fuller is suiting up for the Vandy football team tomorrow and could be the first woman to play in a P5 conference game.  
UNC played ND tough but in the end the better team won.  I can say that.  You all saw it.  Sam Howell will use this game as motivation going forward.
So Gonzaga Men's Bball played a game today and had a player test positive with Covid-19.  How did Mark Few let that happen?  How did college basketball?  Are the games that important?  Seriously?
