    Season 4 Trailer: Job

    Season 4 Trailer: Job
The 4th season of Clearly is here! This fall season, we’re diving into the book of Job and the questions that show up in it:
    • Why do the righteous suffer?
    • How do we to grieve like a Christian?
    • Are there wrong ways to explain pain?
    • What role does satan play in our suffering?
    • What is the real point of Job?
Also new this season, we’ll be doing more Q&A episodes. We feel like this content is important and tender and requires a lot of nuance and we’d love to take as many questions as we can. You can send your questions about Job to question@clearlypodcast.com.

Whether or not you are in a season of suffering, thinking through these topics biblically is incredibly important. It’s important in how we understand our own pain and loss, how we comfort others in the wake of their own losses and how we talk to non-believers who see suffering as an obstacle to faith.

    Greatness Redefined

    Greatness Redefined
Why are we so tempted to "do large things, famously, as fast as possible?" The wonderful Zack Eswine helps us answer that question and more in our final episode of the season. Zack shares his hard-earned wisdom gleaned from a life of successes and sufferings. Join us as we explore what the (truly) good life looks like.

Be a Different Kind of Dreamer

Be a Different Kind of Dreamer
We sit down with our friend Trip Lee to talk about dreaming. In many ways Trip has led the life most of us dream of: Successful artist, best selling author, coveted speaker, pastor of a thriving church. But most don't know his whole story: Set backs, chronic sickness, stepping out of the spotlight for years. Trip shares his insights on dreaming and doing the work God has given us to do.

Our Story In (and Out) of the Spotlight

Our Story In (and Out) of the Spotlight
Welcome to our summer season kick-off! As we get ready for Kelly's new book launch, we wanted to share some of our story: Getting married at 20, signing a record deal, touring the world, writing books. On the surface it's looked pretty sparkly. But that's far from the truth. We wanted to take you behind the scenes to show you what God has been up to, and what it has to do with finding your purpose in life.

Ep 243: Girl in a Pink Dress with Kylie Needham

Ep 243: Girl in a Pink Dress with Kylie Needham

A special episode: Anna chats with author Kylie Needham about her debut novel, Girl In A Pink Dress.

Girl in a Pink Dress centres on Frances, an artist in her 40s who is invited to her former lover's exhibition opening in Sydney.  A beautiful, spare novel that explores the idea of two artists living together and female rage, against the backdrop of the Australian landscape.  Described as "a quiet triumph" (Heather Rose) and "breathtakingly good" (David Wenham), we loved this book.

    Friendship Field Guide

    Friendship Field Guide
No one: "Friendship? Piece of cake! It comes so natural! Why waste a whole episode about it?!" Jimmy: If only we had someone on this podcast who wrote an entire book about friendship that could help me think biblically about this tough issue. Also, it'd be awesome if she was a beautiful blonde woman...OH WAIT!
