How I Grew My Reach and Tripled My Email List In 8 Months

How I Grew My Reach and Tripled My Email List In 8 Months

“The beauty of having your email list is that you can land in the inbox of your ideal client... [they] joined your email list because they wanted to.”

    —Dee Boswell-Buck

Did the last business conference you attended, in-person or online, tick all your boxes?

My experience of business conferences designed for women entrepreneurs revealed a divide between the themes covered by women and male speakers.

While women consistently talked about topics like mindset, meditation, and strong pricing...

...male speakers focused on finances, strategy, and client acquisition.

Are all of the topics important? Absolutely! But the women-only conferences lacked the content — systems and strategies — I desired to build the business (and life) I wanted.

So I decided that I would help to empower women in these spaces… by creating my own conference!

“Strategize Your Business Online: Lessons From The Trenches” is my virtual, full-day conference for women in business, by women in business — without the fluff — on Thursday, September 28, 2021!

As a special sneak preview, this episode of Strategize Your Business Online shares how I grew my ideal audience for the conference by tripling my email list in just 8 months...

Press play to join me in the trenches for all of my tips and tricks to strategically reach your dream audience online!

    In‌ ‌this‌ ‌episode,‌ ‌you’ll discover:‌ ‌

    • That segmenting your email list around specific services will curate content to reach and grow your ideal audience
    • How paid advertising can strategically land you in front of and connect you with more dream clients than attending an in-person networking event — for less than the price of an event ticket!
    • The importance of including a call-to-action in every piece of content

    Getting Meta with Getting Meta

    Getting Meta with Getting Meta

Chuck has gone and started another podcast. This one is called Getting Meta. It's a show on productivity, mental models, habits and how to live better. So in this episode, Chuck becomes a guest on his own show as the rest of the Simblified panel, Tony, Naren and Srikeit, ask him about Getting Meta, the guests, the learnings and stuff. It's a strangely personal episode and while there's the usual amount of banter and puns, it might leave you slightly warmer than the average Simblified episode. Or so we hope, because that's how it left us hosts after the recording was done!

You can check out Getting Meta on any podcasting app (come on, you know how this works by now).

How I Promote My Podcast 101

How I Promote My Podcast 101

“Podcasting opens up the opportunity for you to meet your future customers and benefit from the know, like, and trust factor.”

    —Dee Boswell-Buck

Are you new to podcasting? Thinking of starting one?

Starting a podcast is one of the best ways to promote your business, reach your ideal customers, and grow your audience.

I’ve now released several episodes of Strategize Your Business Online. As a newbie podcaster and introvert, I know that sharing can be scary…

…but getting your voice out there allows you to connect with potential customers and establish a relationship — building trust and likeability as listeners get to know you.

In the beginning, promoting your podcast can be a case of trial and error.

So, how do you effectively promote your podcast?

With some diligence and creativity, using targeted online strategies!

In this episode, I share my journey so far and 6 ways (tried and tested by me!) that you can promote your podcast — and your business — to your dream-fit audience online.

Here’s a quick tip: As you’re growing your podcast, adding links to popular podcasts that you’ve been a guest on in your email signature allows people to learn more about you, your podcast, and your business!

For more strategies I use to promote my podcast, press play!

    In‌ ‌this‌ ‌episode,‌ ‌you’ll discover:‌ ‌

✔   That being introverted isn’t an obstacle to podcasting (and can actually be an asset)!

✔   How to use hashtags strategically to land in front of the right audience

✔   Why you should be using LinkedIn Live to network, grow your audience, and record reusable content

Pretty Sure spirituality & podcasting go well together

Pretty Sure spirituality & podcasting go well together

Do you need to have a business to start a podcast?

In this second client spotlight episode, I talked to my friend & former podcast coaching client, Diane Corish, about her spiritual awakening & religion (there's a method to the madness: her podcast, The Aligned Action, talks about religion and spirituality from different lenses) and how she merges both together. Her experiences as an entrepreneur and why she decided to leave it behind and start a new job in Corporate. Aaaand the best part? We talked about her experience creating her podcast, working with me, and how she feels about having launched her podcast finally (spoiler alert: she loves it & feels 1000x more confident than ever).

Catch Diane's podcast The Aligned Action, here & be sure to leave her a review:

And if you're interested in starting a podcast, I'm opening up 9 spots for my 12-week 1:1 program: Ready, Set, Podcast! It's by application only, but if you're curious & want to change your life, check out the website & apply:
