Hyer is the solo project of Wisconsin native Jacob Olson. In his own words, "drain is a funny one. I tend to write lyrics last. This was a song that is very 'Pinegrove' influence. If you know that rings a bell, but very much like the Americana Indie it was a riff that I wrote like a year ago I really stuck with it and the song came really easy to me and then the lyrics were very difficult to kind of come up with but overall it's kind of like a self-reflection song." @hyermeplease @anodynecoffee
