The Story of: King's Request Relief of the Distressed
King George lll express wish for those who have to help the poor and a rather damning article on how the rich are not supporting the poor as expected, especially during the holiday season.

This can also be interpreted as a reprimand towards his son, the notorious libertine and outrageous spendthrift, the future King George lV.

The Story of: The Capture and Execution of Dick Turpin
For those unfamiliar, Richard "Dick" Turpin was an infamous highwayman of his time. His arrest, under the alias John Palmer, is a story for another time.  This story recounts his execution, his protestations, and finally his admittance of guilt as he swings.

We went back and forth on the title of this rather unbelievable story. 

In essence without giving too much away: poverty, rent due, unwanted children. 
It was a very famous case in its day. and a reall success for the then newly formed NSPCC (The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children)
