Episode 254: Welcome to NNN, Home of the NNN, can I take your order?
If the title wasn't an indication of the news then I don't know how to tell you this. But Good Burger is coming Back! Good Burrger 2 was announced, among other things. But the Second Dominion war seems to be heading our way in the star trek universe, the Unreal Engine is literally forging new paths, the Power Rangers are back, and Shazam 2 was funnier then it had any business being.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Alex and Luke revisit The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It was released in November of 1998 and is the fifth game in the Legend of Zelda series. The first with 3D graphics. OoT is critically acclaimed and often considered the godfather of open world gaming. In fact, according to Metacritic, it's the best game of all time!

Ocarina of Time has been ported to the GameCube, Wii, WiiU, iQue Player, and most recently to the Nintendo Switch via their Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) service. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS refreshed the Nintendo 64 classic, adding 3D visuals, updated graphics, and polished gameplay. Both Luke and Alex played countless hours of Ocarina of Time on 64 in their youth. For this playthrough, Luke revisited Hyrule via NSO, and Alex played the 3DS version for the first time.

Ep 28: 7th Dragon III Code: VFD

Ep 28: 7th Dragon III Code: VFD
Underrated and under-promoted, the absurdly titled 7th Dragon III: Code VFD didn't make much of a splash when it was released on the Nintendo 3DS. But there's plenty to love in the game, a mix of Rieko Kodama's sci-fi/fantasy aesthetic and Etrian Odyssey-esque dungeon crawling, even if you (like most westerners) missed the first two non-localized entries. Allisa and Paul take a deep dive into a mostly forgotten gem and find a game that's shockingly progressive (in its own problematic ways) as well as a engaging sci-fi fantasy epic, Allisa James on GamePur (https://www.gamepur.com/author/allisa-james) Please support us on Patreon and get a new patron-exclusive episode every month! We go through some of our most memorable moments with the system, look back on its announcement, and even react to every 3DS variant.

We know the console is important to many gamers over the 2010s, and it has a special place in hearts of the Vooks team, too. So here’s to the Nintendo 3DS, and all of the wonderful, strange, and even frustrating experiences it brought to us all.

What are some of your favourite 3DS memories? Did you ever get one of the limited edition models? Did you collect every puzzle piece in Puzzle Swap? Come raise a glass with us in the Vooks Discord!

Episode 124: Pre-Order? Who said anything about pre-ordering
Did you get a PS5? Probably not, and its not your fault. Facebook double down on the Oculus platform. No Bungie and Microsoft aren't getting back together. Beyond Good and Evil has lost its head, but luckily not every body needs a head. Also more PS5 news. Small Screen shenanigan's like Disney+, The Mandalorian drops a trailer, and DC Universe falls to HBO Max. Is Ant-Man 3 setting up the big bad for phase 4 in the MCU? And Noah Hawleys Star Trek sounded like a snooze fest.
