The company said it made 145 billion yen ($1.37 billion) in operating profit for the quarter ended June, marking a 428% surge compared to the same time a year ago. That blew away expectations from analysts, who had estimated about 62 billion yen of profit, according to data provided by Refinitiv.  Was the hacking scene part to do with this?

Nintendo has settled out of court with Uberchips.com owner and operator Tom Diltz Jr. for $2 million dollars.  This is due to a lawsuit that was filed based on the fact that Uberchips.com were selling modchips that were considered piracy devices.
