On May 6, 1998, Chicago Cubs rookie Kerry Wood took the mound at Wrigley Field for his fifth career start. As the 20-year-old Texan mowed down an Astros Lineup with the Killer Bs of Bagwell, Bell and Biggio, red and blue K signs tracked his efforts out in the left field bleachers. Michael and Nico talk about Eloy Jimenez injury, NL Central is not scary, and Nico made it out to Spring Training.

Host Adam Burke jumped on the airwaves to talk some baseball with a look at some happenings from Spring Training and also previews of the five teams in the NL Central during the Five-and-Fly segment. Adam started out with a quick injury note and then talked about how prospective baseball bettors should be looking into bullpens as we approach the start of the season and why those carry so much importance in April, especially here in 2021.

On the NL Central side, Adam gave some overviews and betting breakdowns for the weakest division in baseball with thoughts on the Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and St. Louis Cardinals.
