No Fear, No Anxiety, No Worries - Audio
2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." "When fear knocks at door send faith to answer." When you choose to trust God it draws great grace over your life. If God is going to look after the birds and the flowers, He will look after you. Jesus is more than enough

THE GAMBIA EPISODE! Unless you're walking around naked, covered in dirt like a mad man, there's really no such thing as mental health problems

THE GAMBIA EPISODE! Unless you're walking around naked, covered in dirt like a mad man, there's really no such thing as mental health problems

RETURN TO THE MOTHERLAND! I am in Gambia, West Africa this episode! I give you a little insight to Gambian culture, and how every day is a party, whether it's a wedding, funeral, or Sunday dinner. I talk about feeling depressed every time I leave Gambia and return to the U.S. This episode I interview my cousin, William Joiner, and we talk about BODY IMAGE! He chats with me about how being picked on as a kid for being the "chubby kid" affects him today, and his struggles with negative self-talk. We also talk about emotions, and how it's NOT acceptable to show them in Gambia, or else...what the hell is wrong with you? Oh, and uh as long as you have a roof over your head, food to eat, and family...you couldn't possibly have anything to worry about! "You'll be fine".  Who would've thought the stigma surrounding mental illness in the U.S. would be so similar in Gambia?

    Sparkling Focus on Synchronicity

    Sparkling Focus on Synchronicity
According to Vedanta, there are only two symptoms of enlightenment, just two indications that a transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness. The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don't bother you anymore. You become light-hearted and full of joy. The second symptom is that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life, more and more synchronicities. And this accelerates to the point where you actually experience the miraculous. ~ Deepak Chopra You have likely experienced a sequence of seeing a certain number popping up wherever you go in seemingly unrelated locations such as street numbers or room numbers. Or a song plays in your mind and you just happen to be flipping the radio dial and the song comes out of the speaker. Is this pure coincidence or is it a “cosmic” pattern representative of a harmonizing principle and belief of “oneness” with the Universe? Join Mighty Gems as we explore Synchronicity.
