This Episode we chat with bass legend John (Norwood) Fisher of Fishbone at the 2019 Aftershock Festival in Sacramento California. Norwood and host Evil discuss the band's 40 year run, their formation, influences, musical revolutions, "Nut-Meg", advice to aspiring musicians and more.

This episode is a great one because its giving us musicians and singers  the sound engineers view in a live setting and studio setting. It is featuring my friends Marty Taylor and Manny Smith. These two guys a amazing at what they do and understand things from a musicians stand point as well. They share with us some of the "do's and don'ts" during sound checks, pre-recordings, in church and even on the road. They give great knowledge on different set-ups for musicians whether it be in-ear monitors or wedges. Definitely a great listen. Check it out!!

This album from 2000 came out more than 20 years into the career of this genre fusing music group. We look at their commercial apex and their struggles with racist expectations to understand what led to this attempt at a new beginning.

This week, we look at a man from a prominent, and respected sports family, who followed in his legendary grandfather's footsteps... For a while, anyway. He was always considered a kind, quiet guy, until mental illness started to take over. After a few years of psychotic incidents, such as believing that his sister was an ISIS clone, sent to destroy him, or that he is actually the offspring of Greek Gods. Not to mention, thinking was Jesus for a little while. Needless to say, this situation devolves into scariness, and murder! This is one interesting Australian!!
