Pay Equity Victory
In 2016 the PSA lodged an equal remuneration case in the Industrial Relations Commission on behalf of SAS Staff working in schools who we believed were historically underpaid because of their gender.
In a historic day for SAS Staff in NSW, the PSA has obtained the Department of Education’s agreement to resolve and settle the PSA’s Equal Pay Case.
We discuss the history of the case, the outcomes for those involved and the jubilation for those that will benefit the most.
