As an award-winning designer of shoes, rugs, wallpaper, and tiles, Verin is intimately involved with contemporary design, with a specialty in couture and accessories.  Her work has appeared in countless books and publications.  A Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Verin has lectured around the world.
Recognized as the expert on Beth Levine, (having written Beth Levine Shoes, (Stewart, Tabori & Chang 2009) and curated 3 exhibitions, as well as authored Arsho Baghsarian (Schiffer Fashion Press.)

New Yorkers in LA - do you feel the heat already on this topic or is it just the weather!?  This topic never gets old and there’s so much to learn from those who call these places home as well as their fascinating stories. 

My guest today, @danielzahler started a movement to unite New Yorkers in Los Angeles. That’s right, The New York Times picked up Daniel’s unique, yet much needed community of New Yorkers, who have made the transition to Los Angeles and who have connected through a What’s App group of 250 ppl (with a waitlist to join) called, NYC in LA.

Why he started this community and more on what his New York & LA story is - you’ll have to tune into the episode for that. However, what I can share is that Daniel has so many tips for both coasts along with pizza recommendations that will have you wanting to visit both cities to confirm. 

Daniel is a Harvard graduate in Chemistry & Chemical Biology, and has a JD from Harvard Law School. He even had a fellowship at Yale Medical School. He knows his east coast and is currently making his best life in the west coast while promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Justin Crawford's Bio

Justin Crawford is a multimedia host, creative content producer, top podcast host and entrepreneur who interviews some of today's biggest celebrities, newsmakers, thought leaders and more. In just a few years after graduating from the University of Tennessee, Justin has managed to work for companies like NBCUniversal - while (on the side) building brands, launching creative production companies, podcasts and bringing media outlets some of the most exclusive interviews to date.

Justin is now a Co-Owner and the Chief Lifestyle Officer at The House of Routine, a rapidly growing productivity and health/wellness company that caters to customers and partners seeking to better their daily lives through routines, habits and everyday practices. Under his leadership, the company has already begun partnering with companies like NBC and SoHo House, gearing up to launch a new podcast, producing exclusive live events, and building strategic plans to grow the business forward.

Justin also hosts the "Men of the Hour podcast,” an Apple Top 100 New Podcast that aims to educate and encourage listeners through the narratives of Justin's guests.
