💥 Un nouvel Omnibus sauvage apparaît !! 💥

Alors qu'il nous reste encore un Omnibus "comics & politique" à compléter (oui, on sait), notre format de "mini-série thématique" est de retour pour une occasion très spéciale : l'arrivée de la série d'animation Invincible. Un monument du comics de super-héros indé' qui méritait (en tout cas, c'est notre envie) de lui consacrer plusieurs podcasts avec différents angles. 

A cette occasion, c'est le moment de vous révéler une petite surprise : votre Arno Kikoo préféré a travaillé comme superviseur sur l'adaptation en VF de la série ! C'est pour cela que pour ce premier numéro on va pouvoir discuter doublage et direction artistique avec Benoît Du Pac, grand comédien de doublage et directeur artistique qui a travaillé sur une quantité incalculable de projets, dont les anime GTO, One Piece ou la série The Walking Dead. Avec cette entrevue façon "SuperFriends", on vous fait découvrir une partie du travail mené sur la création d'un doublage VF pour une grosse série d'animation telle que Invincible, avec Deluxe Paris.

Votre premier Omnibus de 2021 est servi !

Des fautes d'un reconfinement en fin d'année dernière qui a mis pas mal de nos plans à l'eau, le format Omnibus revient en force en ce début d'année, car nous n'avions évidemment pas fini de causer comics et politique ! Après avoir abordé les messages portés par les super-héros au fil des décennies et creusé les comics underground, notre troisième épisode s'attaque à la question du Image Comics moderne, et l'effusion des messages politiques que ses oeuvres ont permis de diffuser, notamment sur l'âge d'or que représente la décennie 2010 pour la maison d'édition.

Un programme forcément dense pour inviter à lire de l'indé (comme bien souvent), et qui nous permet de discuter également de la force des messages chez Image comparé au mainstream, en compagnie de notre invité Republ33k, qui arrivera malgré tout à placer Star Wars dans l'émission ! On espère que ladite émission vous plaira, et on vous invitera plus que jamais à partager ces formats plus lourds à produire (et plus rares, on sait, on sait), car c'est vraiment ce dont on a besoin pour poursuivre cette entreprise !

Omnibus est de retour !

On sait que notre productivité déssert certains de nos émissions plus rares que les autres, mais Omnibus sera bien présent tout ce mois de novembre ! Le concept est pour rappel très simple : une thématique, plusieurs émissions pour tout autant d'angles et d'invités ! Le but est d'être vaste, généreux, sans avoir la volonté de tout aborder non plus (car il y a toujours plus à raconter). 

Notre première "mini-série thématique", vous l'avez compris, est donc là pour aborder les liens entre politique et comics. Après avoir parlé du rôle des super-héros dans le mainstream, on s'intéresse aujourd'hui aux différents mouvements de comics contestataires, avec des auteurs et autrices qui ont utilisé le médium BD pour faire circuler leurs envies, leurs idées révolutionnaires, ou tout simplement pour envoyer boulot l'establishment alors en vigueur. Comics underground, 2000 AD jusqu'au Vertigo des débuts, une autre fresque historique tissée avec Sipan, professeur d'écriture pour le cinéma et le jeu vidéo, qui anime également le podcast Procraciné !

On espère que vous nous pardonnerez une fois de plus pour une qualité audio en deça - des causes de l'obligation d'enregistrer à distance, alors que tous ces rendez-vous auraient dû se faire en présentiel. On espère aussi que le contenu continuera de vous plaire, en vous invitant toujours plus à partager ces formats long (et de fond) qui ont besoin de tout votre soutien pour perdurer !

Un nouveau format apparaît !

On vous l'avait promis dès notre lancement, l'émission Omnibus peut enfin démarrer ! Le concept est très simple : une thématique, plusieurs émissions pour tout autant d'angles et d'invités ! Le but est d'être vaste, généreux, sans avoir la volonté de tout aborder non plus (car il y a toujours plus à raconter). 

Bref ! Pour ce premier volume de nos omnibus, on profite de l'actualité américaine pour interroger le rapport de nos comics préférés à la politique ; premier sujet : les super-héros et leurs thématiques depuis le Golden Age. Pour aborder cette fresque temporelle, on est accompagné de l'historien et auteur William Blanc, auteur de l'essai Super-Héros, une histoire politique aux éditions Libertalia (à retrouver à ce lien). 

Hélas le reconfinement nous impose d'enregistrer à distance, on espère que vous nous pardonnerez une qualité audio pas forcément optimale par rapport aux autres émissions long format. About Niam Yaraghi

Niam Yaraghi s an assistant professor of Operations and Information Management at the University of Connecticut's School of Business and a non-resident fellow in the Brookings Institution's Center for Technology Innovation. His research is focused on the economics of health information technologies. In particular, Niam studies the business models and policy structures that incentivize transparency, interoperability and sharing of health information among patients, providers, payers and regulators. He empirically examines the subsequent impact of such efforts on cost and quality of care. Niam’s ongoing research topics include health information exchange platforms, patient privacy, and healthcare evaluation and rating systems.

He has a B.Sc in Industrial Engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology in Iran, and a M.Sc from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. He received his Ph.D. in Management Science & Systems from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
