    Wreck-It Ralph (w/Manny Cruz)

This week, we're diving into Disney Animation with the 2012 hit Wreck-It Ralph! We're joined by comedian Manny Cruz to talk about this incredible movie starring John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch, and Jack McBrayer. Was this movie paid for entirely through product placement? Why are they saying it's OK for a woman to kiss a short man? We wouldn't definitely play the hell outta Sugar Rush!

    School Reunion

    School Reunion

Today I'll be talking about a play that does not exist. It's the last of my musical comedies and it's called: 'School Reunion'. So far I haven't written the script, so really, it's just an album in it's current form. However, these songs are on all the major platforms, like all the songs in my other plays.

Having taught in NSW public schools for 42 years I have seen a good many students who thought that they were pretty cool and others that lacked confidence and still others that were made fun of and bullied.

The idea behind these songs, and maybe one day the play, is that at the 30 year reunion we hear the stories of these students and what has happened to them in the intervening years.

And it's not always the cool ones who succeed in the long haul of life.

      Time           Song Name

    • 02:24          Boom! Chugga Lugga!

    Reservoir Dogs

    Reservoir Dogs

This week, Robb and Andy are taking their first dive into the films of Quentin Tarantino, with the 1992 classic Reservoir Dogs. Why does everyone in this movie call the bathroom a "commode"? Would you let Harvey Keitel yell at you? Obviously yes, but for how long?! Oh, we're using those words a lot in this, huh?

    Dodge City

    Dodge City

Today I'll be taking you through some songs and stories related to  my eight musical: 'Dodge City'. It was  first performed by Windsor High School students in 2001 in their school hall  in Windsor, NSW, Australia.

I have chosen six songs for this episode.

    Female vocals - Jessica Zamprogno
    Drums  - Julian (Juz) Clark
    Piano - John Samperi
All other instruments and male vocals - me.

    LOGLINE

Dodge City Kansas – 1879. Wyatt Earp is long gone and the new sheriff has a drinking problem. Gunslinger, Jimmy Hackett, is terrorising the town; Sally is in love with Daniel; he is in love with Virginia and she is not interested in men from the South.

    SHORT SYNOPSIS

The days of the Wild West are ending and the law is catching up with the gun, but the residue of the old world still lives on in the ruthless heart of gunslinger Jim Hackett, who terrorises Dodge City unchallenged by Cal, the local sheriff with a drinking problem.

Set in a bar in Kansas 1879-80, and against the backdrop of a rapidly changing U.S.A., ‘Dodge City’ is the story of piano player, Danny, his love for singer, Virginia, and of bartender, Sally, and her love for Daniel. Virginia hails from Georgia and in spite of her acerbic disposition and constant disparaging remarks about northern men, Danny is still heartbroken when she returns to Savannah to marry. In her absence, Danny and Sally hitch up, but when Virginia returns for the 1880 New Year’s celebrations, pursued by an angry and murderous Jim Hackett, a few surprises are in store.
