Dans ce premier épisode du Point de Vue, tous les fondateurs de Point'n Think se sont réunis pour aborder un jeu qui les a tous marqué : Outer Wilds. Axel, Bilal, Brian, Julien et Stephen reviennent sur l'oeuvre développée par le studio Mobius Digital pour y aborder les différents thèmes qui ont particulièrement retenu leur attention : la curiosité, l'archéologie, la nostalgie et tant d'autres choses.

Dans l’infini, on n’est pas chez soi. Et nous aussi, on préfère les jeux quand ils sont bien délimités, concis, clairement définis.

Pour lancer cette première série d’émissions, on dresse le portrait de ceux qu’on appelle les Monde Fermés. De Resident Evil à Metal Gear Solid, Day of the Tentacle ou encore Ico, ces jeux en huis-clos nous invitent à arpenter leur territoire jusqu’à les maîtriser de fond en comble. Nous tiennent en haleine jusqu’à se laisser habiter. Mais comment font-ils pour nous toucher droit au cœur ?

Sans oublier les lubies ludiques :

— Rémi nous parle de ces jeux qui s’ouvrent à des espaces multiples, à travers l’exemple de The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

— Avant de ranger définitivement sa PS4 au placard, Damien fait le bilan de ses derniers émois sur l’ancienne génération, comme Outer Wilds, Sayonara Wild Hearts ou Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Aujourd'hui, je reçois Patrick Beja qui va nous raconter en quoi la persévérance peut transcender l'expérience qu'on peut tirer d'un jeu vidéo. Et pour illustrer ce propos, c'est le titre iconique, Outer Wilds de chez Annapurna interactive, sorti en 2019 qui sera notre plat du jour au menu de ce premier épisode du C'est quoi ton jeu.
