    050: Hulu Wrap-up

    050: Hulu Wrap-up

Lisa sez: "Cut the cord peoples!"

Brian sez: "Don't forget your animated options"

    Dean sez: "Whats a Hulu?"

Your intrepid reporters from the global resources of the vast Killer Casting Network (KCN) deep dive what is currently keeping them, up way too late, bed-less, bingeing and burning bits & bytes ("But honey ... just one more episode .... PUHlease ?")

Lisa gives a big plug for Reservation Dogs (well she WOULD wouldn't she, coz she was part of the casting team for the pilot !) But hey ... charity starts at home, right ? Also you can hear her thoughts on; The Handmaids Tale, a crazy Nicole Kidman in Nine Perfect Strangers , Y The Last Man, Patton Oswalt in Marvel's animated 'Modok'. But wait ! #notdoneyet ... she also gives shoutouts to 'The Great' with Elle Fanning and Nic Hoult, Alex Garland's 'Devs', The TV re-boot of Nic Hornsby's 'High Fidelity' starring Zoe Kravitz, the sexy/sad Brit offering of Normal People' and the adapted-from-the-podcast 'American Crime Story: Impeachment' covering the Clinton/Lewinsky saga.

Brian has been on an animated tear (That's 'tear' ... not 'tear') so he sketches out why you should watch Solar Opposites from Justin Roiland the creator of Rick and Morty and lays out the result of the love child between Kiwi geniuses Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi .. that would be the vampire mockumentary comedy 'What We Do in the Shadows'

Dean (with no Hulu in Australia) raids his tagged items in the Aussie-based Stan Disney+ and  Binge platforms to come up with the gripping British crime drama 'Vigil'. He also likes The White Lotus and is rewatching the classic Working Dog Productions' razor sharp satire 'Utopia' (which is scarily accurate to his corporate day job)

Dea) WAS going to search up all of the trailers for these shows, to save YOU the trouble, but has decided he cant be arsed and you can do it yourselves. So on that note ... we'll see you on the socials!

    Where is this movie located?

What is Blade a hybrid of?

Where is our Stan Lee cameo?

How did they get to the blood bank?

"Beginning Of The End" S1E22 Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Review (A Marvel Fancast) LoS024

"Beginning Of The End" S1E22 Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Review (A Marvel Fancast) LoS024

It’s The Beginning Of The End! Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. concludes their first season on television with a whirlwind finale episode and the Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. hosts are here with their take on the episode and the season. With nearly everyone in agreement that this was the best episode of season one Haley, Lauren and SP Rupert debate the finer points of the episode and the season’s plot in general.

SP discovers a new term of “Paxtoning” someone, Haley geeks out of the awesome May moves, and Lauren continues her drool fest over Manu Bennett. The trio also discuss the many Easter Eggs in the episode including Bill Paxton’s Terminator moment, the Wheddon signature Coulson killing Garrett moment, Fury’s ability to hide large and powerful weaponry, the lack of Namor to assist Lauren’s science babies, perhaps our first Life Model Decoy (Thank you Patton Oswalt!), AND the fact the Fury MUST be a Time Lord.

The Legend Of S.H.I.E.L.D. hosts also go farther in depth over several items including Stargate Pioneer’s list of season one hanging chads, our reactions to Fury naming Coulson an honest to goodness Avenger, Coulson and Garrett’s etchings, how a Bucky Barnes-Grant Ward comparison DOES NOT WORK, requesting specific Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. fanfic (namely Ward’s head exploding following contract with May’s foot, and the official Lauren keyboard smash moment count for the episode (12).

News for the week includes the OFFICIAL Marvel announcement of season 2, a review of alternate release dates for Batman versus Superman, and the finer points of stunt coordinators, doomedthemovie.com, and this week’s episode ratings.

Join us next week as we go back to Coulson’s beginning and look how far Clark Gregg has come since Iron Man.
