In this episode of Records and Real Estate Karen and Andrew interview the incomparable Tommy Choi Co-Founder of the Weinberg Choi Team and one of the owners of Keller Williams ONE. Tommy is a huge Pearl Jam fan, a lifelong Chicagoan, and is a source of inspiration for many young Realtors and entrepreneurs. Tommy tells an impeccable story. He also is a man of integrity. One story he tells is how he attempted to mend a fence between marginalized communities hurt by the racist practices adopted by Realtor associations from the past when he formally apologized for the Chicago Associations of Realtors role in redlining and steering.

    Brad (Band Appreciation)

    Brad (Band Appreciation)

This week on the podcast, Rico and Tony take some time to talk about the band Brad for their artist/band appreciation series. A rock band that was born in Seattle during the 90’s, Brad was a band that was often overlooked because of the grunge scene where they originated from, despite the band not really sounding like a lot of the bands at the time. In the episode you’ll also hear a review of Brad’s newest album, In the Moment That You’re Born, which was released last month. Sadly it’s the band’s final album as singer/pianist Shawn Smith passed away in 2019. Still, the band’s legacy lives on and is celebrated on this week’s episode. Rest in peace Shawn Smith.
