Putana Bang Bong Bing Beng = Au Fond Qui suis-je_l’être humain n’a aucune autonomie, aucune permanence et très peu de liberté
Will God answer your prayer if you don't end with, "In Jesus' name, Amen?" Learn what praying in the name of Jesus really means. I taught this week on the call of Abraham and the development of God's missionary call through the nation of Israel as they were responsible to communicate the truth of God to the cultures around them. They were given that great commission. The great commission didn't start in Matthew 28. It started with Abraham in Genesis 12 —the first three verses there —Abraham, chosen by God to raise up a nation who would then be God's priests to the world so that they would be a blessing to all of the nations. They had a unique role in the great monotheistic religion. The Jews were supposed to reflect morality to the world. Israel was to witness to the name of God. When they talked about the name of God and witnessing to God's name, that does not mean that they were to let everybody know what they called God, "Yahweh." Their goal wasn't to cover the countryside with evangelists who just let everybody know what the right word for God was. It meant something different. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ https://linktr.ee/jacksonlibon --------------------------------------------------- #realtalk #face #instagram #SDF #SYNDICAT #DESPUTES #amour #take #couple #dance #dancers #vogue #voguedqnce #garden #tiktok #psychology #beyou #near #love #foryou #money #ForYouPizza #fyp #irobot #theend #pups #TikToker #couplegoals #famille #relation #doudou #youtube #twitter #tiktokers #love #reeĺs #shorts #instagood #follow #like #ouy #oyu #babyshark #lilnasx #girl #happybirthday #movie #nbayoungboy #deviance #autotrader #trading #khan #academy #carter #carguru #ancestry #accords #abc #news #bts #cbs #huru #bluebook #socialmedia #whatsapp #music #google #photography #memes #marketing #india #followforfollowback #likeforlikes #a #insta #fashion #k #trending #digitalmarketing #covid #o #snapchat #socialmediamarketing

Man-ufactured Reality - with Gerry Parke

Man-ufactured Reality - with Gerry Parke

Gerry Parke is an artist whose work unpacks masculinity as a construct ~

If we looked hard enough, we'd all find embarrassing photos of ourselves that exist both online and offline. But what happens when you've moved on from a certain stage of your life and photos of you are shared without warning or permission?

When a high school friend shared photos of Gerry Parke on Facebook, his reaction was visceral. In those photos, Gerry saw himself trying to mirror and perform a rigid masculine role that was celebrated and enforced by those around him. Having since grown from feeling confined to that role, to unpack the emotions that the photos provoked and the idea of performative masculinity, Gerry picked up his paintbrush.

Topics include: masculinity as a construct, the performance of masculinity online, permanence, the right to be forgotten, kids on social media and more.

You can find Gerry's work on his personal website and follow him on Instagram. If you're in Auckland, New Zealand, you can go to Gerry's solo show at Whitespace Gallery (on until February 14th, 2020).

What does it mean to be a global citizen when walls and borders are back in vogue? How do you create a permanent home that’s a sanctuary? And what does permanence and sanctuary even mean when borders are being re-drawn and the ground is shifting beneath your feet?

In this episode we meet Amy Hochadel and Monica Cunningham who met on the political campaign trail in Ohio - one of America’s most hotly contested battleground states. A couple who also made a permanent and life-changing investment in London at a time when the winds of change are howling across Britain and America and rattling our sense of home and belonging.

'Facing Change?' - Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar (Traditional Service)

'Facing Change?' - Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar (Traditional Service)
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, Senior Minister. SERMON DESCRIPTION America is facing change, you are facing change, and religions are facing change. It’s a truism that “the only thing that’s constant is change.” Yet, it is frequently stated “People hate change!” Well that’s a cruel joke, to be alive in a world of unceasing change and have a disposition that desires stability. How do we keep faith in life, one another and ourselves during times of transition? What can we count on when everything around us seems to be moving? The answers include essential keys to living a positive, effective and successful life. In our ever-changing world it’s important to know in what we can place our deepest trust. Permanence Planning for Children and Families with Learning Disabilities
The Disability Discrimination Act 2005 imposed a Disability Equality Duty on all public authorities from December 2006 and makes an understanding of discrimination law vital for anybody who undertakes public law cases. The Adoption and Children Act 2002 is also now in force. Special Guardianship, Residence Orders and Adoption are all options available in private and public law cases - as the first cases reach the Court of Appeal, how are they being approached? What of step-parent adoption/parental responsibility for the new partner?
