How To Overcome Lower Back Pain For Good: Dr. Lysander Jim
In the latest episode of the Simply Fit Podcast I have the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Lysander Jim. Lysander Jim is a Board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctor who specializes in the treatment of low back pain. It’s highly likely that at some point in our lives, we’ve experienced back pain, specifically lower back pain and unfortunately, if we’ve seen our doctor, we’ve probably ended up with a prescription to treat the pain which only leads to a short term solution. Lysander’s treatment goes far deeper than this and looks at everything from your biomechanics, posture, movement and corrective exercise to heal your back issues and avoid surgery or medication. In this episode you can expect to learn: How to determine if our back pain is genuinely a back issue or is linked to something else. Why too much bending, twisting and loading could be causing disk bulges. Along with exercises you absolutely should do in the gym and ones that you must avoid to protect your spine. So without further ado, Lysander Jim.
