The Backyard Brawl resumed on Thursday and I’m still trying to process it all. I give my thoughts on the game. Usually in these types of games, Pitt loses. Pitt managed to pull it off despite the chaos. Can they clean it up in time for Tennessee?

Well it’s game week and another Pitt Football season is upon us! I talk about the Backyard Brawl. I give my thoughts on Pitt’s season. I predict their wins along with who wins the ACC. I close out by mentioning my thoughts on how the other conferences will play out.

My kids are back in school. I talk about their summer. Pat Narduzzi knows his audience, so he will always piss Big Ten media folks, especially in Pittsburgh. This season is an important one for Pitt. Kenny Pickett seems to be settled in with the Steelers. My thought on Manti Te’o turned into a discussion about John Cusack movies.

It seems college football expansion has stopped for now. PAC-12 is trying to stay together. The ACC should be fine for now. There was rumor that Jordan Addison isn’t happy at USC due to the promises not delivered. I talk about both sides of this argument. Le’Veon Bell isn’t playing for now and I look back at what happened in 2018. I talk the movie “Last Dragon” and open some hockey cards.

The name on the football stadium will no longer be Heinz Field. I tell folks that life goes on. Pitt Football added more commits and I talk more expansion. I then do some football back breaks and more songs from the summer of 2001. What Zach Wilson did was a genius move and I explain.

The Big Ten added UCLA and USC. I wonder if we should even be concerned about this? I look at the other expansion possibilities as well. For Pitt and the ACC, if may just be business as usual. I finish by looking at the summer of 2001.

Pitt Football got more commits and Pitt Hoops added another player. The month of June gets better. SirVocea Dennis had schools entice him to transfer and I felt some of the comments were telling.  I added a few more strip club stories. I then open some packs of 1991 Action Packed Football where I complain about all the money I spent went into worthless cards.

It’s the month of June for Pat Signals. Pitt Football got plenty of verbal commits the start the month of June! Pitt Hoops landed a big recruit and things seem to be looking up for them. I close out the show with strip club stories.

March Madness wrapped up and I give my thoughts on it. Pat Narduzzi gets a well deserved extension. Heather Lyke addressed the Pitt Hoops situation and it’s time for us to move on. It’s also time for us to move on from Jamie Dixon. Also, Gary McGhee didn’t die.

Coach Grubbs and Coach Warzu join the podcast. We talk March Madness, Pitt Hoops, Pitt Heartbreaks, and Steelers. Which Pitt Heartbreak was worse: Villanova or 2009 Cincinnati? Warzu mentions the Steelers may need to draft a WR early on. We're tired of seeing Villanova play in Pittsburgh for the NCAA tournament for obvious reasons. Kentucky is eliminated from the NCAA tournament and the Kentucky message boards had their meltdowns.

Pitt Football hired a new offensive coordinator and wife receivers coach. I think Pitt would’ve beaten both Alabama and Georgia, but that’s the Homer in me. I talk some Pitt Hoops and Pitt Football also added a transfer. Steelers wrapped up their season and Kansas City Chiefs got eliminated due to their own ego.

Pitt lost to Michigan State in the Peach Bowl. I wasn’t mad given Pitt was down to their third string QB. Pitt Hoops got Ithiel Horton back, but still lost another heartbreaker. Antonio Brown got released by Tampa Bay, but he may have a reason to be mad for what happened. Ben Roethlisberger played his last game at Heinz.  I talk about his career and he has ‘two legacies” that Steeler fans will have to deal with.
