Michael and Nathan take a phone call from an upset parent whose young daughter was publicly embarrassed and yelled at on stage by her director. The theater's vetting practices are called into question. This is a great episode to remind directors that patience is indeed a virtue - something ALL directors need to remember from time to time. 

Nathan asks Michael about his new original play, "The Girl In The Picture". Michael discusses the writing process, the characters, the cast, and what the audience can expect when the show debuts in Hemet, CA this may.

Playwright Daniel Guyton stops by to discuss competitions, publishing and dead bodies. In this episode, we also span the spectrum of playwriting including - compensation, dialogue, feedback and criticism, the future of remote productions, and the pitfalls of cinematic fashion in the playwriting medium.

Daniel Guyton has been a playwright for well over 20 years having won many awards, nationally and internationally, and also teaches playwriting at Georgia State University.
