They’re the heroes from books, poems, film, and television, but not from reality. We admire and adore them, but they don’t live among us. They are the best Fictional Athletes. They’ve entertained us forever playing their sports, but who takes the top prize among them? Steve & Kirk take on the best of these amazing character athletes.

Lots of us grew up on Disney and Pixar films. We love the cute heroes, the story, the songs. But do we really love the villains? You bet we do! Without the villains, what do you have? A whole bunch of cute do-gooders, and who wants that? Steve and Kirk return to pump up these characters in need of some love as they discuss and debate the best of the worst Disney/Pixar characters.

Who doesn't love a good cry watching a movie? Not real men Kirk and Steve. Alright. Yeah, they do. Maybe a little too much. But not so much that they can't get it together to discuss and rank the ten movies most likely to make them, and maybe you, reach for the tissues.

The guys return from an extended absence (ahem, Steve) to discuss, debate, and rank the best ad campaigns to ever inhabit our screens. This episode is a fitting reminder of the warmth, humor and intelligence Chris shared every day of his life. We were so lucky to have him as our guest as we talked Disney music. Great films usually are products of strong scripts, casting, directing, and the skills of the entire crew. Even the great films would fall flat without the music score to accompany the story and action. Great films can be made better, weaker films can get elevated to new heights by an amazing score.
