    Navigating Transitions

    Navigating Transitions

When I started this podcast I really had no idea what direction I was moving in with my offering. All I knew was that I wanted to speak with guests who could inspire, enliven, and really shed light in the crevices of humanity during this time of being alive while navigating this pandemic.

I did not expect to love podcasting as much as I do. I am committed to continuously creating powerful episodes as I believe that more and more we need to be having conversations that are edgy, that challenge us in our ways of thinking and being, and that give us some juice to living life embodied and awake.

While behind the scenes I begin to churn, explore, and do my own research about who I want to bring in and what topics I want to continue to explore, the episodes that are being produced will be a little bit less frequent than normal.

Please stay tuned! I am excited and hopeful for what is to come in this podcast. In the meantime, I wanted to offer you some tidbits around transitions and doing so embodied and connected.

Episode 122 - Mini Series Ep 3: Figuring Out Your New Normal Post-COVID

Episode 122 - Mini Series Ep 3: Figuring Out Your New Normal Post-COVID

Whenever we look back at any major event that’s happened - 9/11, 2008, afterwards we’ve all had to adjust to a new normal. And post-COVID is no different. We can’t simply pick up the pieces of our trucking business and resume where we left off, we need to adapt our operating procedures to the new requirements.

So what is this new status quo? What does this new normal look like?

Well, none of us have a crystal ball, but we can hazard a good guess.

And so in this final episode of our three part mini series looking at the impact of COVID on the trucking industry, we discuss what the future might look like and what carriers can do to prepare themselves and their drivers for operating safely in this new normal.

“I think in preparation for that, we have to go back to the basic fundamentals and look at our partners you know, the Fleetworthys, the Sambas, the Assurance of the world and say, ‘Hey, what do I need to do?’”

Because you’re not expected to have all the answers - use partners to help you find your feet, to guide you through new legislation and to show you short cuts that can keep your wheels turning.

Download and listen to this episode as Chad discusses the learnings that have fallen out of this crisis with representatives from Fleetworthy, Asurint and Samba Safety.
