This is episode 40!
Welcome back to Let's Talk Health with Mairi! How are you today? This week's episode is an important one.
Heart disease and cancer are the two leading global killers today. Research indicates that roughly a third of cases of cardiovascular disease and cancer could be prevented if our diets were rich in fruit, vegetables, and fibre. Genetic factors play a small role in chronic disease risk when related to lifestyle factors that account for 80-90% of the risk. You have most of the power to be healthy, happy, and disease-free.
Today's podcast is all about how to PREVENT these diseases before they occur.
