President-elect Droupadi Murmu took oath to head the highest constitutional post of the country, followed by a 21-gun salute.Droupadi Murmu was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana. Former president Ram Nath Kovind, outgoing Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Sonia Gandhi were present for the grand ceremony. 

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has reached at Sonia Gandhi's residence ahead of her appearance before the Enforcement Directorate in an alleged money laundering case. Her son, Rahul Gandhi, is also expected to accompany her to the probe agency office.
