For mange er Hiyao Miyazaki lig med filmmagi. Og ikke uden grund for han har skabt nogle af de mest elskede japanske manga-tegnefilm herunder dagens film i fokus: Prinsesse Mononoke fra 1997. Filmen blev startskuddet til Studio Ghiblis lidt mere dystre stil og kradse samfundskritik og står i dag som et af de mest nuancerede portrætter af menneskets forhold til naturen. Alt er smukt og dragende her; det visuelle udtryk, musikken, fortællingen og åndeligheden. Men det er også kulturelt anderledes og kræver åbenhed fra en vestlig seer. Lyt med når vi lader os rive med af Miyazakis unikke filmunivers. Dagens filmanbefalinger byder på en en potpourrie og en filmaften, du sent vil glemme (!)
