With a crazy weekend of rumors surrounding Gedo STRIGGA & Dylan are back with a new episode discussing what led to STRIGGA tweeting about Gedo allegedly stepping down from the booking position of NJPW. Amidst all this turmoil the G1 Climax announcements can't be forgotten though and so the Eastern Lariat crew goes over both blocks, picks their favorites, runner ups, dark horses and the overall winner. How does the tournament compare to last year's? What about the drop outs and the newly added participants? Other topics include NOAH heavyweight & junior heavyweight tournaments as well as some bits about All Japan, 2AW and Dragon Gate.

After the untimely passing of Atsushi Aoki STRIGGA & Dylan got together to talk about Aoki's death, but more importantly about his career and impact that he made in japanese pro-wrestling since he started his career in 2005. He would quickly become one of the closest friends and associates of Jun Akiyama and was part of some memorable matches and moments both in Pro Wrestling NOAH and in All Japan Pro Wrestling. The New Japan Cup has been a land of upsets for many, many years now, but this year it seems like the outcome is very predictable. In that regard STRIGGA & Dylan bring up some alternative ways besides the obvious pick and shed the light on some dark horses for the New Japan Cup victory and for the road to Madison Square Garden. Before they get to the New Japan Cup however, the Eastern Lariat cews reviews the Honor Rising shows and also talks about some news and notes including japanese talent in wXw's 16 Carat Gold, Atsushi Onita, WWE releases, the next Triple Crown defense for Kento Miyahara and Pro Wrestling NOAH's restart.

In a new Eastern Lariat episode STRIGGA & Dylan go over the most recent set of New Japan shows from Hokkaido plus KUSHIDA's final match and also discuss AEW's possible impact on Japan, KENTA leaving WWE and NOAH being sold...yet again. The time around the turn of the year for japanese pro-wrestling has almost become comparable to WrestleMania weekend in the United States because of the strahlkraft of Wrestle Kingdom. Beyond New Japan's biggest show of the year there's a lot more happening at this time of the year so STRIGGA& Dylan took an extensive look at ZERO1, WRESTLE-1 and Big Japan Pro Wrestling while also making sure to reminisce about indie wrestling 10 years ago. STRIGGA & Dylan end 2018 with an exclamation point as they review Pro Wrestling NOAH's Great Voyage from Yokohama and WRESTLE-1's Autumn Bout from Korakuen Hall. Both companies tried to set the stage for the months to come – with varying success. The trio goes through every categorie and extensively debates the winners, names their choices and sometimes even tries to get to the bottom of what the awards actutally stand for. On top of that STRIGGA, Dylan and WH also talk about their top company and some of the most improved wrestlers in 2018.

Two weeks after the G1 Climax ended the Eastern Lariat crew gets back together to shed a light on some of the promotions that fell short to the spectacle that the G1 was. STRIGGA & Dylan talk about some of the best matches that happened in Pro Wrestling NOAH in recent months while also discussion some of the storyline developments on the ark. From there the two move on to All Japan's Summer Explosion Series, the King of DDT tournament and all the turmoil surrounding the KO-D Openweight Title. After STRIGGA talks about Takayamania Empire and Dylan gets to hype the most recent Tokyo Joshi Pro show he leaves the scenary as STRIGGA interviews French wrestler André Cartier who took a chance and lived in Japan while (in the end successfully) trying to get into the Japanese independent scene. It's G1 time! The most wonderful time of the Japanese wrestling year is upon us. Sadly, it's not all sunshine as STRIGGA is out for this week doing his civil duty, so Dylan is riding solo this week for the first time in almost 2 years! He breaks down all 20 participants in the G1, goes over statistics from last year and mentions some of their best work as well as theories on their 2018 booking and his opinion on each man's in-ring prospects, where he expects them to rank in his own rankings, and then gives a final prediction on the G1 Final and its winner, as well as where it could lead for Wrestle Kingdom, including a big hot take on who WON'T be getting big singles matches in January. The show closes with a preview of the G1 Special at the Cow Palace, Dylan proving he's never one to sell his own analysis short, and some match recommendations from all over the world of Puroresu for you to catch up on in between the G1 Special and the official G1 Climax.

All Japan's Champion Carnival is over so STRIGGA & Dylan got together to discuss the entire tournament: What does Marufuji winning mean for All Japan? Where does the promotion go next?
