Tulpas and Imaginary Friends: Unraveling the Enigma and Exploring the Unknown

Tulpas and Imaginary Friends: Unraveling the Enigma and Exploring the Unknown

Join our Discord if you have ideas or stories.

Have you ever wondered if your childhood imaginary friend could have been more than just a figment of your imagination? Could they have been a Tulpa, an entity with its own thought processes and consciousness? Join us as we unravel the enigmatic world of Tulpahs and imaginary friends, and consider the possibility of their connection.

In this mind-bending episode, we discuss how Tulpahs can be created for various reasons, such as coping with depression or seeking an ideal partner. We also explore how they can manifest in physical and non-physical forms, igniting a heated debate within the community. I share my spine-chilling encounter from my younger years, while researching the infamous Slenderman, as a testament to the power of belief and perception. Additionally, we hear from one of our participants about their daughter's imaginary friend, leading us to question if a child's limitless imagination could bring Tulpahs into existence.

But what are the dangers of inviting Tulpahs into our lives? We examine the potential consequences of tampering with the unknown, from opening gateways for unwanted entities to accidentally inviting in spiritual "squatters." As we delve deeper into the captivating world of Tulpahs and imaginary friends, we invite you to join our Discord community to share your experiences and insights into this intriguing phenomenon. Listen in and prepare to have your mind blown!

How do we land a message with someone not ready to hear it?

How do we land a message with someone not ready to hear it?

One of the challenges for anyone trying to raise awareness of the climate emergency or the myriad social issues facing humanity is, how do you share this knowledge with people not ready to listen to it? And people are not ready to hear it for many reasons. It’s hard and depressing, it will force them to change everything, the fear of eco-anxiety is strong, facing it shatters a beautiful reality, and so much more. It’s not an easy challenge to overcome.

But if we have any chance of waking the world up to the multiple crisis’s we face, we have to ensure our communication skills are so good, we can break through and gain attention. To help me understand the psychology of communication, I reached out to my friend, Dr. Frank Hagenow CSP. A psychologist, author and professional speaker, Frank understands this better than anyone I know. I hope his ideas help you in further finetuning your communication to help you deliver your message. Communication is such a critical skill right now. I’ll invite more experts on to help with this critical pillar in the climate fight.

Please note, we had some issues with Frank’s audio, which could be lessened but not fixed. The bird noise is definitely me. I have a ‘singer’ that visits every day. It’s lovely.

Surviving a Life Full of Domestic Violence with Angela Accomando

Surviving a Life Full of Domestic Violence with Angela Accomando

    ***Trigger Warning***
This is a heavier episode as we speak of domestic violence and abuse. If you are suffering or recovering from a mood or mental disorder and/or are a victim of sexual assault or abuse, please listen with caution or skip this episode. The last thing I would want is for hearing these things to set you back in your healing journey or to trigger negative thoughts or emotions. Also, if you are a bit more sensitive or an empath, you also may want to listen with caution.

In this episode, Angela recalls her childhood where her mother was in multiple abusive relationships, and how she later found herself in the same situation in her marriage. Then, down the road, her own daughter was in an abusive relationship, which was the catalyst to Angela getting a bill passed in New York to help protect victims reporting domestic violence. Angela is an empowering voice for change, healing, and survival. Listen in for her whole story!

Peeking Behind the Bars at Epstein's Jail

Peeking Behind the Bars at Epstein's Jail
Today we are piercing the veil of silence of the Metropolitan Correctional Center, by going behind the bars with guest Ziv Cohen, M.D., who has worked as a forensic psychiatrist examining inmates there. This is the jail whose incompetence allowed inmate Jeffrey Epstein to carry out his suicidal plans. Regardless of the criminal acts Epstein is accused of, no inmate deserves his lethal fate. Despite his risk factors for suicide, such as his fall from power and an opulent life to a jail cell, charged as a pedophile, public disgrace, and most significantly a recent prior suicide attempt, Epsteins fate was left to a doctoral-level psychologist-meaning an unlicensed one, who obviously did not have enough experience to recognize that he needed to be on 24/7 suicide watch, instead of being left in his cell with a bedsheet and a bunk bed to hang it from-with only 30-minute checks and guards who did not even do that. Mental health services in jails and prisons need to be upgraded for all inmates

One of the biggest problems for many experts is just getting started and getting over impostor syndrome. Today, Terri and Paula speak to someone they've both tapped for his expertise, Ben Michaelis, PhD. He's a frequent media guest and author of Your Next Best Thing. We'll learn how to get out of your head and into media plus what tactics have worked for Ben to up his own media game.
