Well, it's Groundhog Day... again, and that must mean it's time to take a look at the 1993 Harold Ramis-directed fantasy comedy about a selfish and cynical weatherman who learns to be selfless and caring.

As an annual winter calendar event, thousands of people wait in hot anticipation to find out just how much winter is left to deal with and if there's any hope of an early spring. Kind of like the state of the world over the last year with the pandemic, which has forced almost everyone into lockdown and quarantines with no end in sight!

And so why not take a look back at this mid-90's gem starring the immortal Bill fuckin' Murray to find out if it will be an early spring, or if Phil Connors, and the rest of the world, will be doomed to repeat the same day over and over again!!

Just don't forget to watch that first step 'cuz it's a DOOZY!!!

Well, it’s Reel It Back...again, and this week the guys are covering Groundhog Day over and over. The guys start with Bill Murray, his comedic timing and genius and how he was the perfect actor to play Phil Connors. The guys get into hotel stays, karaoke, and how often did Phil stay up all night to attempt at breaking the loop? They continue another day as they discuss Ned and how great of a part he plays and what is Phil’s true intentions throughout each day. It gets dark with Phil’s depression stage but Mike gives an uplifting epic Das Boot story. The guys differ on how long the Phil-Rita relationship lasts after the movie and the surprising lack of a ridiculous sequel. The Recast attempts to replicate Bill Murray’s genius by putting some intriguing characters in a 2021 remake. Make sure you have some deja vu in the kitchen, don’t live by the rules and listen to this one! BING!
