Sense8 is back with a holiday special to break in the new season! We're still on the run, and the holidays bring both trials AND tribulations for our sensational pals. Allen finds a kinship in the character of Bug, Magellan is a big fan of the dance scenes, and we could all use a bit more actual Christmas content this year.

    The Hot Mess Express

    The Hot Mess Express

“Honestly, I’ve never liked a guy more in my life.” —Shane McCutcheon

We’ve arrived at our destination: Lesbian Hell. Thanks for riding the Hot Mess Express with us this season of The L Word: Generation Q! Season 2 may have finally come to a close, but we’re still experiencing whiplash. Our dear L.A. lesbians are making some interesting choices: Bette is breaking up an almost-marriage, Shane can’t figure out the meaning of long-distance relationships, Alice can’t stop herself from snooping, Dani is in contempt of court and so much more. And of course, our roller coaster ride ends right at the edge of a cliff. Hang on tight! Xtra's senior editor Erica Lenti and managing producer Chelle Turingan host.

But first, Angie is trying to meet her donor, Alice is coming out as bisexual again, Bette and Pippa are protesting big pharma at the California Art Center, Sophie is searching for Finley and Gigi has a recorder concert to get to. Will they slow dance the night away in this penultimate episode of Season 2? Xtra's senior editor Erica Lenti and managing producer Chelle Turingan host.

Episode 4: Drag in Northwestern Ontario

Episode 4: Drag in Northwestern Ontario

Caitlin enters the world of - DRAG!!  This episode has been a long time coming, and there are likely to be more in the same vein in the future.  With her guest Logan Potvin AKA Shaela Vie, Caitlin delves into a bit of the history of drag itself, as well as how Shaela Vie came to be, and the difficulties (and new opportunities) of performing in the midst of a global pandemic.  The latter half is devoted to learning about different terms you'll hear thrown around a lot when discussing or watching drag performances.  This was an idea posed by a friend of Caitlin's who wanted to teach her young daughter about drag.  Both guest and host had a TON of fun making this episode and hope you will too when you listen to it!
