Well, the 2nd half of this season completely blew the first half out of the water! There was so much good here that all the naysayers need to simmer down and try it again. Can't wait for Season 3 to drop on Netflix!

One of our dearest, Anthony, joins us for this episode, and we couldn't have asked for a better episode for him to guest on! Marilla and Rachel take in a pair of orphaned children after their mother passes away from "galloping consumption." Once again, we are treated to a Marilla and Rachel centric episode, and our hearts couldn't be happier with it! Marilla invents a beau to get the Avonlea gossips off her back, but when a man with the same name rides into town, Marilla spirals into a web of lies so deep, she's not sure she can get out of it.

The return of two of the most beloved characters in the Avonlea universe return in this episode. Well, beloved to us anyway. Mrs. Rachel Lynde and Marilla Cuthbert return, and they haven't changed one bit since we last saw them. In this episode, Rachel, Sara, Felix and an old codger named Alexander Abraham must be quarantined in the Abraham house after Alexander's hired hand comes down with a severe case of small pox. Shenanigans and Rachel's severe style of order come into play big time this episode.
