It's all post-punk this episode! Fast guitars, dreamy riffs, overdriven vibes – good stuff! This episode is a weird mix of genres, I’ve been officially influenced by a popular music podcast, and became a fan of psychedelic German rock from the 70s. Then, there are the ambient bands I didn’t get to on last week’s show. Then I’ve been listening to heavy-post blues. Then to top it all off, Inon Zur and the Bethesda Boys drop one of the best ambient albums of the year with the Starfield soundtrack! So, we’re all over the star map this time!

Out of the office this week, so bringing a re-run of our Best of 2022 show! A (very incomplete) list of some of the best post-rock that was released last year!  

I have tried to make this a list of both some of the biggest releases of last year like Russian Circles “Gnosis", and El Ten Eleven’s “New Year’s Eve”, and some of my favorites like Deer Park Ranger, hubris., and Guilt & The Bear. Este viernes hemos conocido a José Luis, un policía local cuya pasión por Elvis Presley le ha llevado a tener su propio espectáculo como el "Rey del Rock".

Además, con Álvaro Velasco hemos hecho un repaso a la actualidad de la semana con el último sencillo de Shakira como tema central y también nos hemos echado unas risas Karlos Arguiñano y nuestras meteduras de pata semanales.

Los viernes empieza el fin de semana, está claro. Pero también nuestros Xavi y María saben que es el día de verse las caras con su mayor crítico: Karlos Arguiñano… nuestro Karlos particular, ya sabéis, el del «conejo de la Loles».Hoy ha vuelto a sacarles los colores con las pifias semanales.

Hemos compartido también un rato con Álvaro Velasco y conocido cual será el futuro del hueco que nos deja en el programa el personaje de Liz Truss, la ex primera ministra británica.
