Cheetahs imported from Africa will be released into Madhya Pradesh on September 17, marking the beginning of the ambitious program to reintroduce cheetahs in India. In this episode, Ananya Rao and Rohan Pai deliberate over the implications of bringing cheetahs back into the Indian ecosystem.

Ananya Rao is a researcher at Ashoka Trust for Ecology and the Environment (ATREE). For the past year, she has been working on the implementation of CFRR in Chattisgarh's Bastar district.
