Building Environmental Awareness And Embracing A Green Lifestyle With Richard Crawford

The Speaking of Travel + Leave No Trace Series continues with Richard Crawford, host of the Amazon Prime series, Leave No Trace. Richard reviews principles of ecotourism and provides knowledge on how to create a sustainable way to travel.

As we get out and begin traveling again, it's time for all of us to know the difference between green, eco-, and sustainable tourism. Richard shares how important it is to pay attention when you travel after the pandemic and think about choosing certified hotels, tour operators, and other providers of tourism services so we can move towards becoming more sustainable tourists and how to travel with a lighter environmental footprint.

As Richard moves into Season Two of Leave No Trace TV, he offers up some of the best green destinations and tips for traveling to help save money, sleep better, get off the beaten path, meet locals, and just be a better traveler. It’s time to get out there again and try new things.

    S3E4 - Anna Hart

    S3E4 - Anna Hart

Nature Bantz Episode Four is here. We’re delighted to welcome our guest, Belfast born author and journalist, Anna Hart. We discuss Anna’s love for slow, sustainable travel, solo bike jaunts and even fossil hunting on the coast of the UK. How the pandemic scuppered her American travel and work plans, but led to a fantastic caravan renovation project with friends, called Club Jupiter. Plus Anna shares more on her love for her adopted hometown of Margate.

Due to the pandemic, we’re still recording lo-fi for Season 3 so please excuse any background noise as we are working from the comfort and safety of our own homes. You may hear the odd barking dog, clinking cup of tea or birds twittering away.
