Episode 37 - Become a Force for Good One Tiny Home at a Time with Maria Simone

INVEST IN THE UPLIFTING OF YOUR COMMUNITY

On this episode of The Game Changing Podcast, we welcome Maria Simone, the Co-Founder of ZenMoose Capital and author of the upcoming book Love Yourself Rich. Maria shares how their Social Impact Fund, uniquely, frees up restricted stock and how their portfolio of companies includes tiny homes.

Maria shares the amazing positive impact their initiatives have on local communities, as well as providing a solution to the growing housing crisis in the US. She talks about her passion for helping the community, creating wealth for others, and being a force for good in business.

    GAME-CHANGING NUGGETS

Maria: A unique offering to free up restricted stock

"We actually work with restricted stock investors which is very unique and disruptive, and restricted stock is people who have taken their companies public and because these are major shareholders of public companies, and because they're considered insiders, their stock has a lot of restrictions on it. They can only sell a certain amount every year. And so with our fund, with our exchange, they can exchange their stock into our fund and we can monetize it for them in ways that they can't and give them very unique, very abundant benefits."

Maria: Alleviating the housing crisis with tiny homes

"In our Backyard Riches Program, you just have to make a call. We take care of installation, zoning, and all that. We get you financing. We deliver it, and then as soon as we put it in your backyard, you could immediately start renting it out. And so you're talking about average all-in mortgage payments of about 1100 a month, and the rents are easily 1800 to 2200 a month in California, maybe more. But you know, so that's immediate cash flow. And not only that, so you're creating immediate cash flow, a wealth vehicle in your life, and you're giving somebody a home to live in. That's the whole point."
