Episode 21: How We Can Return The Favor to a Parent with Dementia with Award Winning Songwriter Dwight Liles

When caring for a parent who is living with a condition like Alzheimer's can be one of the hardest events in a person's life. It is something that takes a toll both on the parent suffering from the disease and the caregiver who wants to ensure they can give their parent the best care possible. So how does someone do this? What is it like to "return the favor" to our parents?

We are extremely blessed to have Award Winning Songwriter and Musician, Dwight Liles, on today's episode. Dwight shares his passion from music and how he has written dozens of songs throughout his career that have touched countless lives. Dwight also talks about writing the song Returning the Favor, and how it was based on his own experience taking care of his mother.

Dwight has such an incredible gifting in music and a passion to share it with others, along with the knowledge and empathy of using songs like Returning the Favor to give caregivers inspiration and encouragement as they walk these difficult paths.
