    It is not often that you meet a young racer who competes in a series such as the US F4 Championship Series who got there without a single bit of prior competitive motorsports experience.  Tyke Durst is an overcomer, and a sharp-minded Engineering student at UNC-Charlotte.  His story begins with a spark driven by a TV show, heats up with track time at Skip Barber Racing School and continues with a highly improbable shot at the first rung on the ladder toward F1.  He shares his story with us on this episode of Lead Lap.

    Isabella Robusto is one of the top female racing prospects in the USA in 2022, having won twice at Hickory Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series Late Model division. She is a part of the Toyota Racing Development group and she works very hard at her craft. She joins the show along with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racer Spencer Boyd, who came up through the same ranks as Robusto and has been responsible for bringing numerous new sponsors into the sport over the years.  Oh, and he also has one win at Talladega, which is coming up very soon again.

Finding peace on the water when he's not at full speed in the race car, Hunter is determined to do what it takes to succeed in one of motorsports' most competitive environments.  He's with us for the entire show, and we hope you enjoy hearing from him.

    For being just 13 years of age, Gavan Boeschele is a very busy young racer. He is running over 100 race events in 2022. The versatile young racer competes on the dirt at Millbridge Speedway just outside Mooresville, N.C., but also travels nationwide running micro sprints and midgets. Gavan is competing against the best in the country in both divisions with increasing success.  He has also already made his first start on pavement in a super late model and is getting ready to make some pro late model starts as well.  He joins us for the second time in the WSIC Studio on this week's Lead Lap Show.
