For kids and teens dreams are exciting. For many adults, however, the idea of dreaming seems childish or unrealistic for a variety of reasons. But dreams are actually a good thing and a God thing. Joseph is such a unique person in the Bible. He is the earthly, adopted father of Jesus, charged by God with raising a King and yet very little is known about him. As a matter of fact, Scripture doesn’t record one word that he has ever spoken but his legacy echoes even today.

There’s an old expression that says “your reputation precedes you”. When you have a good reputation that’s great news. But what happens when your reputation and past are not great? We wish people would just forget our failures, mistakes and sins. In Rahab’s story we see that God doesn’t want to gloss over our reputation – He wants to redeem it.

While the vast majority of people and history struggle with the divinity of Jesus, there are also a large number of people who find it equally hard to understand His humanity. For some, they focus purely on His humanity and make Him too human (marginalizing His divinity) while others focus solely on His divinity and marginalize or ignore or alter His humanity. But Jesus was 100% man and 100% God and today we look at why His humanity actually matters.

Real love always seems to cross seemingly insurmountable odds.
